Lorenzo is the most joyful person I know in Milan.
He is free. He is joyful. He is rich. He needs nothing else from life.
He runs the bistro at Casa degli Artisti, and he moves through it however he pleases. He can run through the bistro. He can crawl. He can walk as if he has flippers instead of feet. That is how I found him today, carrying orders through the bistro as though he had flippers on his feet.
This little scene I saw this morning, made my day special.

But I think I made his day special, too. Or rather, not me, but the colour of my socks, which he liked so much that he took out his phone and took off his shoes to compare his socks with mine.

Then, at the end, he revealed to me that the way he had been walking that day, as if he had flippers instead of feet, was actually a re-performance of a psychiatrist scene from the film Cracking Up.
